Quick Answer
Almost every government job in Pakistan needs: a valid CNIC, a domicile certificate in your own name, your Matric certificate and every degree up to the required qualification with marks sheets, passport-size photos and the paid fee challan. Government employees also need a NOC. Originals are usually checked later, at the interview — so keep them ready from day one.

Mistakes that get forms rejected
- Name or date of birth on the form does not match the Matric certificate and CNIC.
- Degree, experience or domicile certificate dated after the closing date (for domicile, keep proof you applied before it).
- Quota or experience claimed in the form but no proof brought later.
- Copies not attested when the ad asks for it — attestation is by a gazetted officer (BPS-17 or above) with name stamp.
- Applying with an expired CNIC.
⚠ This list covers what most departments ask for. Each advertisement and commission has its own instructions — they are final.
