Read the Domicile Requirement Carefully
Railways jobs are typically division-specific. Ensure you have the domicile of the province/region where the post is located. This is strictly enforced.
Apply via Specified Method
The advertisement will specify: Online via njp.gov.pk, NTS (nts.org.pk), or by sending a printed application to the specified Railway Office address. Some posts accept applications in person at Divisional offices.
Pay the Required Fee
Pay the application or NTS registration fee via the specified bank or JazzCash/EasyPaisa if available. Keep the payment receipt.
Appear for Written Test
NTS-based written test or departmental test. For operational posts (Driver, Gatekeeper), there may also be a practical/physical test after the written exam.
Interview and Medical
Shortlisted candidates are called for interview and medical examination. For Drivers and physically demanding posts, a strict medical standard applies.
